Ginger

Soothe aches and pains with ginger "Chinese women have been using ginger to cure aches and pains for thousands of years. Inflammation is at the root of numerous ailments large and small, and ginger, the most common spice used in Chinese cooking, has been found to be a natural anti-inflammatory. It also calms nausea, inhibits bacteria such as salmonella, and increases circulation. To make ginger tea, you can cut up the root, boil it for 10 minutes, then strain the water and sip as tea; or use ginger tea bags available in health food stores. Drink it two to three times a day when you feel achy. Adding ginger when you cook will also help relieve pain." - Tao of Wellness
