Asprin Consumption


A new study has linked regular aspirin consumption (defined as taking one tablet or more per week in the past year) to neovascular age-related macular degeneration, a leading cause of blindness in the world. Aspirin is used to prevent some cardiovascular diseases, and the researchers have said that any decisions concerning aspirin therapy are “complex and need to be individualised”.
